Youth Conference

Each June, the Illinois Cooperative Council hosts a two-day youth conference for high school students. During the event, students learn about the cooperative principles and tour local cooperative businesses while staying on campus and getting a taste of college life.

Students also participate in hands-on activities that teach how cooperative businesses work in a variety of sectors.

Generous sponsors support the conference by supplying room and board for the students attending.

The 2019 conference will be June 6-7 on the Western Illinois University campus in Macomb. Registration opens in the spring.
